Burnies Complaint - Electrolux/ fridgedare

Review by sissy63 on 2009-05-18
WATERFORD, CONNECTICUT -- I bought a dryer from burnies in WaterFord CT. July of 2008 not yet a year!!!Great sales person great instore help before and after the purchase. My Fridgedare Dryer is tarring up our clothes. I have had it fixed 5 times so far. The electolux company offered me 300$ to keep my mouth shut and move on. That would void my warentee. I paid $598.98 for the dryer and $129.00 for the warranty. Less then a year ago. I asked them to replace it with something that was not tearing up my clothes. The representative said" this is not Walmart we don't exchange" this is now in the hands of my atterny. They refuse to assist me with getting this matter fixed and I have had to retain an atterny. Good luck electolux/fridgeare.

Remember you have also used this dryer/they no doubt were pro-rating it. The other thing is do you know how much an attorney charges per hour? I would have taken the $300, because the attorney will charge you that just to pick up a pen to begin to compose a letter to Frigidaire.

You purchased the extended warranty, they need to get this unit fixed(its part of the contract). If they can't get it fixed then they owe you a new dryer...

Why title this Burnies? They really can't be faulted here. Also is it in fact Burnies or the chain Bernies?
