British Airways Complaint - Never believe what they say over phone
I am planning to send my two minor kids from US to India on BA. Before I made reservations through a travel agent I contacted BA about the procedure for sending unaccompanied minors. I was told by a person Mr Shawn (BA representative) who advised us that we need by an adult tikcet and then call BA to add the feature of unaccompanied minor within 3 days of departure. I booked tickets.
When I called BA to add this feature, SURPRIZE they changed they version. Now they say that I need to by a publihed fair ticket. How in the world we know different types of tickets they sell. Now they say that I need to pay adult published fail + penalty for changing the tickets.
Advise: If you can: Be careful when you talk to BA reps.
