Hotels.com Complaint - Totally messed up weekend
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA -- Hotels.com failed to deliver a reservation to Best Western Civic Center in SF. When I tried to check in, they had no reservation. After calling customer service, I waited on hold for the majority of a 45 minute phone call while they tried to relocate me. They relocated me to a hotel, but when I got there they revealed that they had sold out of the room that I was supposed to have. I was directed to another hotel that apparently didn't get my new reservation...they were sold out too. I ended up missing the show that I traveled to SF to see, and on top of that spent several hundred dollars more than I intended on hotel stays because I had to find a place last minute....and unfortunately all that was available was a very upscale hotel.
Hotels.com STILL billed me for the original room even though they were unable to deliver.
