Lifetouch aka Bryn Alan Complaint - Defending the honor of a past company

Review by Ex BA employee on 2009-05-22
TAMPA, FLORIDA -- In defense of Bryn Alan Photography- having been an employee there for over 15 years- It is not Bryn Alan anymore!! It is now owned by Lifetouch who is still using Bryn Alans name. I wish the company had not sold the name Bryn Alan to Lifetouch because now Lifetouch is making the legacy of BA look bad. I am sorry to anyone who is now having issues with the company that is using the BA name- the true BA would have handled things in a much better fashion and cared much more about the product they were sending out!!

Defending the honor of a great company,

An ex employee

This has been the trend for the last 15 years or so. Any company name with a good reputation for quality and customer service has been sold to some obscure holding company. They are in it only for the maximum profit possible. They will ride that name reputation right into the ground. They don't care about quality, the customer, or the future. Just MAXIMIZE the bottom line in the current quarter.

Example: RCA (Radio Corporation of America) is own by Thomson, France. Who is owned by TTE/TCL; a Chinese outfit.

Without research you have no idea what you are buying. The name damn sure doesn't tell you.

Isn't Lifetouch the company a lot of schools use for student pictures?
