Web Coast Ventures Complaint - Web Coast Ventures delivers SPAM

Review by Ad expert on 2009-05-28
75248, TEXAS -- I don't know how Web Coast Ventures got my email address, but rest-assured that I never signed up with them. Despite this, They are sending me about 8 emails EVERY DAY from their advertisers! While they say they are CAN SPAM compliant they are not. I have opted out over 15 times but am still getting emails from them.

I wish the Federal Trade Commission would shut them down.

Something tells me that they are sending the email from different addresses.

File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Unfortunately you may have to change your email address.

Using those opt-out links only tells them that there is a live person reading the mail.

"File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission."

better yet, file a complaint with your isp.

and if you really feel like you need to file a complaint, forward the message to the followeing address;

spam@uce.gov.

Good advice mad. In fact filing a complaint with THEIR ISP would be a valid course of action. You can go to samspade.org or many other various websites to type the url in and see who services it. A good spammer may be hiding that though.
