Homebrands.com Complaint - Has anyone ever actually received their REFUND from this company?
GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA -- What a horrible experience with Homebrands.com!! My bread machine never shipped, and although I have received email confirmation that the order was cancelled, its been 20 days and still no actual refund. I email them every day, and get responses every 2 or 3 days - but the responses always say the same thing "they will check with their billing dept and make sure it is refunded immediately" What's their definition of "immediately"? Obviously not the same as mine. Other postings say their order was cancelled, but only one says they actually got a refund. What good is a cancellation if you don't get your money back? Their website showed the logos of "Bizrate.com" and "Shopping.com" to make you think they are a real company. I wrote to both these companies and received responses that Homebrands.com is not affiliated with them and the logos were being used illegally.
Funny, the logos were then removed from Homebrands.com a couple of days later. I have disputed the transaction with my credit card company, and today I contacted BBB as another post suggested. How does a company like this stay in business?
