Staples Complaint - Cash card
WALLINGFORD, CONNECTICUT -- I return some ink cartridges, explained to customer services that I did noy have a receipt. She said that was okay as long as it was not opened. It wasn't they took the cartridges, 6 of them and then gave me a cash card of my total and a receipt. Then left store. Well later that day, I go out of town to another Staples to purchase some items brcause I was in that area and I find out that they cancelled my cash card. Called them to find out what was going on and they told me thet canceled it because they made a mistake by taking back the cartridges. I tried to tell the manager who was not there at the time what happened and he said sorry but we cancelled the card and we will not except these cartridges due being expired a month ago. I explianed that I did not know they were expired and that we already made the transaction so what are you talking about. This is like going inyo my pocketbook and taking back the money.
This was not my mistake. You execepted the ink. I am now making a complaint and I feel like I was just robbbed. This is not just a lossy $20.00. These cartridges are expensive. I was suppost to get $300 back....
