Progressive Auto Insurance Complaint - Horrible Customer Service
Our son was hit and filed a claim and provided the persons name and address that hit him.
Two weeks later and no adjuster had came out. I called and got a recording that they are in until 5pm but if you call after 3pm, you won't get a call back into the next day. What do they do from 3-5.
I called the supervisor and said I want a adjuster out NOW. They got one out on Monday when I called Friday. Why couldn't the original representative do that.
Then the regular claims representative cannot contact the person who hit my son.
My son drives out to the girls address, calls progressive with all the info again (In essence doing their job for them)
I wait three days and no call, my son is driving around with a tail light out, and it has been two and half weeks.
I called and demanded the car to be fixed, finally the representative calls and says she has contacted, I corrected and said, NO my son contacted and thanked her for finally doing her job.
Rude, incompetent customer service. I wish we would have never changed from USAA. They got our claims settled within days. Stay away from this company !
