Qwest Complaint - Can't read paperwork when you want to change your provider
So I get the run around for two companies Linx and Qwest as to who will provide me my internet. Qwest told me they diconnected my Phone line and internet because they are tied together. So I ask the question. Did the paperwork you received from Linx say to disconnect my internet service? Well no but since the two are linked together we had to disconnect them both. So I asked well where did you think I was going to get my internet service from? They told me you need to call and have a stand alone line to have internet. I asked them. How am I suppose to know this when I want to chance providers for phone and internet? They said it would be on the paperwork that was provided to them. So I asked them what did the paperwork say? Well we aren't sure the Techs did the job. So for a week I fought with Qwest to get my place back in the "TRUNK" for my internet service they told me that it was full and there is a waiting list in my area where I live. So my question is why do you provide a service that you can't meet the demands of? In a nut shell I was told by one of their Tech's I guess you won't change your service again if this is what happens. I told him why is it that a stay at home Mom is calling and doing on the footwork to get my services up and running when if they just did what the paperwork said none of this would of happened? No Commemnt from MR. TECH guy. So if you feel like changing your service from Qwest you might call and find out what you have to do before you change because to them you don't have the right to change in their eyes they will just disconnect everything you have no matter what the paperwork says.
