Emirates Airlines Complaint - Bad Airline

Complaint
Review by ramus29 on 2009-06-03
I have travelled from LAX to DXB and then to TRV yesterday. First time I flew in Emirates. For the last 9 years I flew in Singapore Airlines. I just wanted to try Emirates. Very very bad experience. Not just me. Whoever boarded from LAX, not happy with this Airline.

1. Very bad service. All the Air hostress need the basic training. They are very rude. They were fighting among themselves. Not a friendly atmosphere. Air hostress are eating all the time. They don't care about the passengers. (I can't even compare their service with Singapore Airlines)

2. Food. huh... Whenever I think about their food, I feel like I am going to puke.

3. If you are travelling with baby, please, please look for alternatives. Emirates is not kid/baby friendly. Samething applies to elder passengers.

These air hostress were very rude. They don't listen to you.

After too much hesitation, I selected this airlines. But it failed me. I will never ever fly again with this Airlines.

Good luck if you want to try.

What do you expect from an airline based in the United Arab Emirates?

I have found Emirates to have some of the best service of any airline. The last time I flew them the crew could not have been nicer, and the service was like in a 5 star hotel - I was in business class, though. Toni I, not sure if you have flown an airline from the UAE before but both Emirates and Etihad are known for being some of the best in the world. Asian carries, especially Singapore, are also very good.

Ben, expanding on your point. I find it interesting how provincial some are....nationalistic foolishness. Toni I you may want to travel beyond the confines of the US before you make such a comment. Foreign carriers are amlost always superior in service to US based carriers. Further, they generally have better maintenance and more skill flight crews.
I've flown F on EK (Emirates), only airline I know that you can have a shower at 35k ft.

I second Ben There's comments. My experience flying with them was one of my best flight experiences.

To expand on VF-213's wise comment on "nationalistic foolishness," what we often consider rude in the United States is not considered rude in other cultures. We need to realize customer service does not work the same way around the world.
