Serviceman's laptop Compliment - Contact The Media - Sony Pcg671l

Review by lindakreporting on 2009-06-04
SOMETOWN, CALIFORNIA -- Hi, friend Just to say, I wish you WOULD go to the media about this- it is a perfect case -serviceman and all- to bring a public complaint to a notably consumer-UNFRIENDLY corporation, for which the consumer is a dollar sign with no explanation or questions. I actually have a PC671L- it is a very hardy machine, that is very true, but I found Sony impenetrably far-off an inaccessible for help. The internet, though, has solved various problems. YES- Go to the media. Linda k

what specifically happened with your computer?

and, have you considered asking one of the IT types on base to look at it? They can't work on it "officially" but I'm sure one of them might be able to help you on the side.

I hope you aren't trying to make reporting your living.

Amen, jkt. A reporter knows how to tell a stroy with clear concise language. This post tells me nothing. It is funny, a serviceman complaining about his PC, since my daughter was in the Marine Corps and was allowed almost no personal items on junk on the bunk day. A laptop would have made a dandy Frisbee imitation.

It depends what service and where they're living.

I'm not sure about how the other services lived, but when I was in the Navy, I always had at least a locker I could put things into... On ships I had a whole coffin locker, and often had a workshop (with a locker) I could store a laptop in.
