First Premier Bank Mastercard Complaint - Fraud - Mastercard

Review by 80s chick on 2009-06-04
SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA -- This company made a severe encoding error when applying my $133 payment to my account. When they did their electronic debit against my checking account, they took $733 instead of the $133 my check was written for causing my checking account to falter into a severe overdraft and I had many checks bounce as a result. The worst part is, this company REFUSED to provide me a copy of my check to prove what I wrote vs. what they debited. Their customer service is horrible and their managers are extreme liars. Please steer clear of using this company.

I'm thinking you should be able to get a copy of it from your bank. If you do any online banking it's probably already available for you to view. I know mine works that way.

I agree there has to be a way you can secure a copy from your bank. then if it still is an error, contact oyur bank and see if they can offer any advice. and if all else fails, seek a lawyer.

Go to your bank and begin your dispute. They should be able to help you in this situation. When you write your checks do you have a carbon copy of it? If so, that will help. Does you statement from First Premier show a payment due of $133.00? If $733.00 does not have a logical relation to your statement it will help your position. If your bank cares anything about you they should refund your overdraft fees in this case.

Don't let this go. Don't let them walk all over you. Get your documentation together and sue the hell out of First Premier for ALL of your monetary damages and related costs if necessary.
