StarTec Global Communications Complaint - You'll Be Sorry! - Long-Distance Calls
When I wanted to have the service disconnected, I had to have my local phone company to disconnect it FOR A FEE. The representative of my local phone company suggested I have Startec disconnect it. Startec refused to.
When I first signed up for the service, Startec said there would be no monthly service fee. When I no longer needed it, they charged me ~ $5.00 each month for service fee.
Is mine an isolated case or every long-distance carrier is like that?
