FTD and their affilates Complaint - Save your money on delivery flowers

Review by smileyred75 on 2009-06-08
My husband tries so hard to celebrate events in our life. Several times he has ordered delivery flowers from multiple companies that are really all run by the same one. In each of his orders he has picked one bouquet to be delivered and each and every time they deliver whatever they want. We know it's our order because it has the correct card, but the flowers are not even close to what he asked for, not even the same kind of flowers he wanted. He has complained and the company just doesn't care. This last time they said "if you are not happy then don't order from us anymore. Good luck since we are the same as almost all delivery florists you'll find." They didn't even care that they sent a type of flower that I am alergic to and we couldn't even bring them in the house or enjoy them at all a total waste of hard earned money. The flowers are nice, but the disappointment in my husband is priceless.... save your money or hand pick them from a local shop. They personal delivery is so much nicer.

The only time I use the large chains like FTD are when I have to send something across the country to a town and I know nothing about that town. Generally I stick to something very, very basic.

Locally, I've spent the time checking out the local florists. Found one who likes getting the business, does quality work, and works to build her reputation. Seems to work better.

""if you are not happy then don't order from us anymore. ...."

yep, this is the only way to get past the wrong flowers being sent.
