Bi Sheng Asian Bistro Complaint - Don't Waste Your Time Here

Review by May complains with good reason on 2009-06-08
GAINESVILLE, VIRGINIA -- For as big a place- the hundredth (exaggeration) Asian-type eatery in Gainesville, VA, I thought maybe they had their act together. They've sent menus w/ coupons in the mail and they advertised locally, but....BUT- a big BUT! Service was horrible- we had our entress served 10 minutes apart- as well as the diners next to us who even ordered the same thing! Less than a handful of tables- waiter was clueless as others working there stood by. Had to send my scallops back- I was crunching on sand too much! They still tried to charge for it. Ordered a replacement that should be a no-brainer (chicken chow mein)- it was tasteless, requiring a lot of soy sauce. One of the sushi items- Rainbow something- came complete w/ imitation crab meat. When I asked what the red trimmed white stuff was- he says "crab"- I ask if it fake, he says "yes". Would be nice to know ahead as that stuff is full of chemicals! Water was hard to come by, as well as ice tea refills- the place is terrible. They spent way too much on renting a big space, providing cloth napkins and skimping on customer service.

When we arrived we were his 3rd party, when we left a long time later- there were 6 more tables full- and only one waiter still not being able to handle the first 3! It was the worst $50 we ever spent. (I tried to complain on their web site and the message said they were "off line".
