SFmusicBox.com Complaint - Yours no matter what condition it arrives in
AUSTIN, TEXAS -- It seems that the management has adopted a 'Too bad, it's yours permanently attitude with regard to their sale items:
With a disclaimer that reads ;
" Sale Items are sold as is. Some product MAY not be in pristine condition. Click here for details.'
When you click the 'Click here for details' button you get a list of responsibilities of the purchaser and basically a complete. we're off the hook disclaimer by the company.
Among the new 'rules' (and one that goes beyond the pale of any company I have ever done business with) is a rule that reads: Minor, repairable breakage (can be easily repaired by customer)..wow..hows that again???
I wanted to buy a gift as a birthday present for a friend in another state and have it sent...it's absurd to think that I have to include a tube of Super Glue with her birthday card. just in case'.
The full list of rules: Clearance items may have some very minor issues. We will not accept returns for the following issues:
Gift box damage: outer carton may be scratched, dented, or torn
Minor scratches in less visible areas
Minor paint drips
Minor, repairable breakage (can be easily repaired by customer)
Minor clumps in glitter
Air bubbles less than quarter in size
Wow, finally a company that has the balls to say to the customer ; if you break it ;you pay for it, If another customer breaks it : you pay for it,
If we break it, you pay for it..
We keep the money you keep the pieces..see ya sucker!

There are bad decisions and there are disastrous decisions,,and this one is about 2 steps below disastrous!
