US Airways Complaint - Stolen from Checked Baggage
This past month, I traveled to McCarran Airport, Las Vegas from LaGuardia Airport, New York. On the return trip, I had to switch flights at Philadelphia International. Upon arriving home, I realized that my brand new digital camera had been stolen from my checked bag. I wrote customer service immediately--they do not accept phone calls--and waited over a week to hear back. Basically, I was told that they do not approve of theft, but there is nothing that they can do for me.
It's hard for me to comprehend how an employee can easily walk out with traveler's belongings given how much security is in place at airports these days.
As a frequent traveler, both business and leisure, I will no longer use, nor recommend their services.
