Trymedia Games Complaint - Email? Where?
Certainly not the end of the world for me..but just had to post.
I went to purchase two games from NovaLogic earlier. I decided to download the clients rather than have the CDs shipped to me...ya know, for the convenience. Well, upon clicking the link to purchase the download, I'm routed to Trymedia's website. Fair enough. I enter my credit card details, double-check it for accuracy, confirm my email address twice, and submit it. Order processed... download launches and completes. Installation begins, and WHAM! It wants a serial number. Installation asks me to enter the serial number provided to me in the confirmation email.
Hmm..that's funny..usually my phone vibrates when I receive new emails. I launch my inbox..no email. I check my Spam..nothing.
I figure maybe it takes some time. I let 6 hours pass...still no email.
Finally I say forget it, I'll run out and get the CDs instead.
I submit the refund request, only to be told (somewhat unsurprisingly) it will take between 14-21 days to process. Yet I love how the balance was subtracted from my bank account's Available Funds only minutes after submitting the order.
And WAA LAA! I HAVE AN EMAIL!! YAY!! MAYBE I GOT MY CODES AND I WON'T HAVE TO CANCEL MY ORDER AFTER ALL! I so excitedly launch my inbox..only to find it's the autoreply message, stating they will be in contact with me between 24-48 hours about my refund. Go figure.
