United Express Complaint - bad service
BLOOMINGTON, ILLINOIS -- On May 29th on flew out of Bloomington, Illinois on a united express flight number5724. This flight was late leaving Bloomington by about 2 hours. Therefore I missed my flight in Chicago, and in Chicago there was to be a wheel chair waiting for me. There was none. I had to hurry, and try to get to a plane they were putting me on to go to Columbus. We were held up leaving chicago and then when we got into Columbus it was too late for my daughter to pick me up. Therefore had to hire a service to take me to her home in Lexington, Ohio. Then there was no luggage. After calling several times( and filling out the form at the airport about no luggage) they told me it would be delivered but someone would call and let me know the status of the luggage. No phone calls. I finally called and told them I had to have my medicine. At almost 2:00 a.m. my luggage arrived which I was very thankful for. Now on the return trip we were held up again in Chicago. The captain said we slipped thru the cracks and they didn't send the gas truck out to gas us up so we sat on a plane for 1 hour. Needless to say when I arrived in Bloomington, I was thankful even though I was late getting in. Also on the flight to Bloomington we were told by the captain we could not have anything to drink because of the turbulunce. We hit no rough weather. I think this is the worst flight I have ever taken. I know I am just one of a few but and will make no difference in your business, but thought you should know and I will not travel united again.
