AT&T Wireless Complaint - Lies, Deceit & No Refund
When I canceled my monthly plan about 6 weeks ago, I asked many questions, one was where I saw something about $1/day for the plan. I wanted what I thought was a. 10/min. plan. The representative told me, that did not apply to me. Just recently I realized I was being charged the $1/day + .10/min (even if it is 10 seconds). In addition, I was never told they charge for ringing time coming in and going out, even if there is no answer on either end. I called to cancel the plan yesterday and was told by the Rep and Manager Amy Edwards, "we have no way to do this". Well, they certainly had a way to to charge my credit card. AT&T screwed me during Ivan, I changed to Cingular, they bought Cingular and once again they have screwed me. I am a widow on a fixed income and now can't get my $$ back nor use the phone because I can't afford it.
AT&T sucks! Oh, and I was never told I couldn't get a refund, what a fool I was to buy 1000 minutes!
