Bank of America Informative - Not Happy With BoA At All
President Obama gave BoA 75 billion dollars to stop foreclosures and reduce rates for individuals to stay in their homes that have been a result of the economy. I lost my job in Nov of 2008, was able to make payments and stay current until February 09, lost mother in January to a long illness, lost sister in Feb. due to cancer. my understanding of the mortgage bill that the president pass was a program that would help me and I qualified under the guidelines.. as some may know BOA purchased CountryWide in this was completed in May. Both countrywide and BOA Loan Modification personnel told me that I did qualified and would be sending a letter to me and told me that I need to make sure I have proof of income, proof of loss of job, 2 years tax return ready to mail back when I got the letter. well instead of a loan modification letter I received a foreclosure letter at this time no one from BOA will talk to me. I don't know what to do.
I sent the money to stop the foreclosure and BOA now tells me that they aren't sure if they will allow me to make the payments and stay in my home. This is crazy making and I really don't have the money to get an attorney it just is a bad cycle.
