We did a major renovation of a lower lever family room and needed to begin furnishing the space. The problem was that we could not fit any regular sized sofa down the stairwell. I shopped for months online and in stores with tape measure in hand. But, nothing would make the turn of the stairwell. We were considering all sorts of other seating options, when I tumbled onto the Simplicity Sofas website. We realized that we had found the answer to the problem. The sofas are shipped in pieces, designed to fit through tight spaces. I was a bit worried about color, fabric and comfort, but the website made that easy. They send swatched - a certain amount for free - so you can see what the fabric looks and feels like. Also, there were plenty of reviews of people saying how comfortable the furniture was. Also customer service was very quick and helpful with questions. The furniture took about a month to deliver - because they build it to your specifications - and was shipped on schedule.
It is very beautiful furniture and very comfortable. I would definitely buy from this company again and refer them to other people.

That's weird. There are two of these "compliments" to Simplicity Sofas back to back...and they both read a little like copy. Anywho....

At the risk of being overly cynical, two of thes eback to back for a company which was previously unheard of, spells S-H-I-L-L in my book. And therefore, a company I wouldn't ever do any business with because they have already told me they think I am stupid.

I am the owner of Simplicity Sofas. This is the first time I have come across this page and I feel compelled to respond. Simplicity Sofas provides its customers with the best customer service in the furniture industry. That is not an exaggeration. One of the foremost authorities in the country on customer service, Jeanne Bliss, has designated Simplicity Sofas as a "Beloved Company," one of fewer than 100 such companies throughout the country that she has listed. Other "Beloved Companies" include Zappos, Southwest Airlines and Harley Davidson. Simplicity Sofas is the only furniture company ever to receive this honor. Since the company opened for business in 2007 it has shipped furniture to more than 2000 customers. We have never received a negative review. Many people find this difficult to believe. For example, this website no longer accepts reviews from our customers. There were simply too many. The reason for that is that we contact every single one of our customers after delivery of their furniture to check that everything is OK and whether there are any minor (or major) problems that need to be addressed. A significant percentage of our customers ask whether there is anything they can do for us to show their appreciation and we used to suggest that they could place a review on my3cents.com. We stopped doing that more than a year ago after hearing from several customers that their reviews never showed up on the site.
