Bank of America Complaint - BofA refuses to recognize unathorized transaction
Six months ago I called BofA customer service to complain about an unauthorized transaction on my checking account for $383.31.
Three months later BofA investigations sent a short letter explaining the transaction was found to be authorized based on a receipt from a KMart in a city four hours north of where I live.
They attached a receipt with a signature which did not match mine. I called to complain they were wrong, but they still withdrew the temporary $383.31. It has been six months and I have yet to see my money.
The signature does not match my signature. I have provided BofA with many proofs of my signature. The back of my card has my signature, but also says, "SEE ID". My picture ID is on the front.
I have written numerous letters to BofA Corporate Center, BofA Customer Service and the National Debit Card Services. Nobody has contacted me to tell me where my money is and why I don't have it.
I have sent faxes and placed many calls. Nobody will contact me and often the customer service and supervisors can't give me an answer.
I will be filing a lawsuit soon. Bank of America has failed to serve me correctly or efficiently. They have stolen my money. They refuse to recognize the proof I have supplied them to show why their research is wrong.
