Burger King Complaint - Overcharging - Kid's Meal
ORLANDO, FLORIDA -- Today I went to the Burger King on Narcoossee Rd (Orlando, FL). I went through the drive-thru and ordered the Cheeseburger Kid's Meal. The menu board had the price of $2.99. When I get to the window to pay they are asking for $3.41. I asked the cashier why it was so much. (With tax this should be $3.19). She seemed a little confused, so she read back what I ordered and it was correct, so I asked her what price it rang up at. She said it is $3.19. I explained that the menu board says it's $2.99.
She calls another girl over and she says something to the fact that oh they changed the price. I point blank asked if she was going to give it to me for the posted menu price and she said she couldn't do that because it would cause the cash drawer to be short. So I told her to nevermind that Mc Donald's is just down the street, and then I left. I don't care that it was only 20 cents. They should have changed the posted price before they changed it in the computer or honored what was posted.
When I got to Mc Donald's I went in to order & they are having a promotion for a free ice cream cone for every customer. Yeah for free ice cream cone!
