Cellular South Complaint - Don't Use Cellular Souths Insurance On Their Cell Phones
MEADVILLE, MISSISSIPPI -- First of all I have been a loyal customer for five years. I left Sprint for Cellular South. Today I don't recommend anyone to every use Cellular South, b/c they are out to get over. I purchased insurance on my lg($160)phone. Well when I needed to use the insurance b/c my phone had water damage, they wouldn't even fail my claim. Now I admit I am no saint by any means and my mouth did get a little slick, but I am a mother, college student, thats out of about $300.I've spoken with other customers who've been in this same situation with this company and their advice was you have to lie. If I would have known it would've been this hard to get my phone fixed I never would have purchased the insurance for an extra($4.95)a month. Now I don't have a phone and I canceled my contract so I am out of an extra $2oo dollars. The insurance representatives that I spoke with were Lacondria and Lisa. Because I pissed Lisa off they wouldn't even fail my claim. I am only human. I was lied to on more than one occasion, out of money, and out of a phone. So before you listen to those Cellular South paid actors, please read this. Don't buy insurance on you phone b/c if you can't explain why or how water got in you phone you will just be out of money.
None of this was explained to me when I was talked into purchasing the insurance. I was told if you get water in your phone, run over it or etc., your insurance will cover it. As you read that had to be a lie.
