CoreComm Complaint - Poor company policies - Company policies

Complaint
Review by Anonymous on 2001-06-24
I have just moved from my apartment recently. I had corecomm as my phone provider. I called to get my phone shutoff on the date I intended on moving out. Standard procedure right? I've done it every time I move, no problems. Well with corecomm, beware that they will not shut off your phone when you request it. They will not let you schedule a shutoff date that does not fall on the last day of the month. What does this mean? This means that my phone will be active and on in my name for the next residents of my old apartment! Guess who will be responsible for any long distance calls? ME! What a stupid policy!!!
