AuctionMentor.com Complaint - My Experience With AuctionMentor.com

Review by Granny Justice on 2009-06-16
I purchased a packet for 1.97 on the computer which stated that I would receive information on setting up an eBay account. I immediately started receiving calls from someone named Michael who said he was my mentor. I told him that you do not get a mentor for 1.97 and that I wanted my packet. After 20 or so calls, and my continually telling him I do not want your product, he stopped calling. I have never gotten my packet and now 39.95 has been charged for 2 straight months on my credit card from AuctionMentor. I pulled up the site and it has an e-bay and Comodo logo at the bottom of the site, but no physical address.

I called 1-800-931-3083 and the girl told me the only way to get my 39.95 refunded was to submit a police complaint record number to the following fax. 1-619-489-0463. She also said my account had been closed due the the credit cards refusal to take the second 39.95. The police department here does not do this.

Dispute the charges with your credit card company.

The way to get your money back is to file a chargeback on your credit card account. If want an EBay account, go to Ebay and sign up. It is easy and free.
