Sleep Inn Complaint - Chris Coleman
ORANGE BEACH, ALABAMA -- As Chris Coleman, the front desk clerk said, they do not believe in customer service. This was the worst stay ever. First of all b/c of all the problems with the hotel and then b/c of the way the staff treated us. Chris was horrible when our electricity went out at 3pm b/c we used a blow-dryer. I assume you cannot use a blow-dryer in the Sleep Inn b/c you will blew a fuse. Chris said it would take him 30 minutes to fix it b/c he was the only person working. So we waited and nothing happenned. We call and he asks if it is back on. We said no. He said give me another 30-40 minutes. So we left to do vaction things. We were on vacation and I felt that we shouldn't have to wait on Chris. When we returned at 10pm that night we still had no electricity. When confronted Chris says, "You are just reporting this now?" I said no we reported this at 3, it is now 10, why isn't it fixed. Chris says he cannot enter my room without me there. Wrong-Housekeeping can enter my room without me there. Then he says again it will take him 30 minutes, for me to go to my room and wait and when the lights come on I must call him immediately. Wrong again. I went back to my room to pack. I informed Chris that we were checking out and not paying for the that night. He was horrible saying that I would have to take this up with management. I then said that Sleep Inn must not know what customer service is and Chris says NO WE DO NOT. When Chris was asked for his last name, he says that is all I need to know. Thanks to the Sleep Inn's diry accomodations, poor serive, and Chris Thatallyouneedtoknow, I will never stay at a Sleep Inn again and I will make everyone that I know won't either.
