Delta Airlines Complaint - Where is my luggage - Lost Luggage
MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- I arrived at Manchester, NH on Delta flight 5323 yesterday but my bag did not. The agent told me my bag would be on the next flight and would be delivered. I called the 800 number at 8:00 and was told my bag had been delivered at 7:00 and the file had been closed. When I assured the agent my bag had not been delivered I was told to call back at 12:00 pm to check again. I called at 3:00 am and was told my bag was due to be sent back to RDU. I explained that I was in Vermont for three weeks with no clothes. I was told by the agent that they would route my bag to Burlington, VT on flight 5719 to arrive at ll:20. The agent's name was Ashley Blake. When I had received no call by 1:00 I called the 800 number AGAIN. This time Becky Rigsbee promised me she would check on my bag and call me back in 15 minutes. I received a call from the baggage delivery company at RDU stating my bag would be delivered to my home. I explained that my bag was suppposed to be in Burlington, VT. He said he would take it back to Delta. An hour later I called the corporate office. My patience had run out at this point and I demanded they find my bag. I was told by the customer service agent I needed to correct my attitude, that she did not have to help me. She was supposed to be checking on my bag and calling me back. I have not heard from them since. I do have several emails promising my that my bags would be delivered but nothing yet. These emails are completely contrary to what the agents have been telling me.
I am a consultant sitting at a client site with NO clothes. The airline has yet to offer any compensation for the problems or offered any reimbursement for the clothes I have had to purchase so far. It is inconceivable that an organization could be so unprofessional and definitely incompetent. I am currently out of pocket $200 and I still have no bags.
