Dodge Complaint - Dealerships on the prowl
We have a private "all-inclusive" warranty on our van. Good thing too. In the last few years we've had several thousand dollars worth of work done. The most expensive was a new engine at about 78000 miles. The latest issue is this. Jim McNatt in Denton, TX fixed a faulty regulator in for the power window. A couple months later it sounds terrible. We call the dealership back and find out they are no longer a Dodge dealership. We are also having issues with our transmission. This same dealership had done transmission service on our van. So we take it to Allen Samuels Dodge. They tell us Jim McNatt had put the regulator in wrong so now we have to pay $95 for the diagnosis. They first told us they'd honor the repair because it was done at a dealership if we had the receipt. When we showed them the receipt, they said they COULDN'T cover it because our receipt said Dodge, not Chrylser. Also Allen Samuels tells us our transmission has problems because Jim McNatt over-filled the transmission fluid. We are then told we'd have to pay a pro-rated service amount so they could do service again and "re-program" the transmission. One of our leaf-springs is shot and our motor mounts are broke. This van is a piece of JUNK and the dealerships are a bunch of snake-oil salesmen. This is our 3rd Caravan and now I will NEVER, EVER, EVER buy a Dodge or Chrysler product again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
