Van camp's Complaint - Misrepresentation on CHUNCK tuna fish labels

Review by GA_GRANNY on 2009-06-22
Today I opened a can of "CHUNK" light tuna. It was like opening a can of cat food, and I've seen cat food that looked better. I tried to drain the water out of it. Well, that didn't work, so I just throwed it away. I am a grandmother, and have bought many cans of tuna, of which I was pleased with up until the last few years. Other tuna processors are the same, I've tried them all.
I personally think this should be considered false advertising. Who would you contact to file a complaint about this, the FDA ?
Rest assured, I will not be buying any more tuna in the can.

What's with all the complaints about tuna on here lately? I think every national brand except Starkist has been hit.

tuna in the pouches is far better. a little more money but worth it.

*complains about starkist!*

there you go.

but seriously yeah, pouches are better than cans, tho more expensive.

but if it's that gross i can see why you *threw* it away

LOL PepperElf! Personally, I wait until the Starkist pouches are on sale then grab up a bunch.

Cant open a pouch of tuna around here without both cats appearing outta no where claiming they are gonna starve to death if they dont get some of that tuna right now this very second!
