STD Flowers Complaint - Dead Flowers At The End Of The Road

Review by daylilly on 2009-06-24
I recently visited friends I had known since childhood in the mountains. To thank my friends for a wonderful time, I sent fresh flowers via FTD. I do not order flowers often and my last STD order was delivered by a local florist.

My friends were not at home to receive the flowers or sign for them, as they had returned to their home in another state. After trying to track the delivery, I discovered that the fresh flowers were left at a gate on the side of the road which is about 1/2 mile from the house at the bottom of the mountain.

1---My 1st question and complaint is, "Who would leave fresh flowers on the side of the road at the foot of a mountain?"

2---My next complaint is, "I was not aware that UPS would be delivering the flowers."

3---The next issue is that I spoke with UPS and gave them my tracking number and it is being investigated.

4---UPS can verify that the dead flowers are at the end of the road only, but if they were delivered, there is nothing they can do.

5---UPS telephoned FTD during the investigation; UPS hung up the phone when he identified himself.

6---UPS suggested that I call FTD and informed me that FTD was responsible for this error.

7---I cannot believe how poor the service was.

This is not good business.

Please tell me you meant FTD. I had a good laugh, though.

Why does it matter where the flowers were delivered, they weren't there to get them anyway. How would this be different if they had left them on the front porch?

Nothing like an STD to say thank you for a good time.

STD, the gift that keeps on giving...or itching. I don't know.

Alright children, that’s enough.
