Top Drawer Complaint - Contract Trap - Queen bed
COLUMBIA, MARYLAND -- In April I purchased several pieces from Top Drawer in Columbia, MD. At that time I was told that the bed would not be available until August but probably earlier. I was instructed to initial several places on the order contract. One area that stated Final Sale No Cancellations, I interpretted that as either after complete payment or after receipt of merchandise. At that time I did not forsee personal life changes that would lead me to cancel this order in June. After several attempts to contact the manager, when we spoke I requested a store credit for the DEPOSIT not SALE on the bed I wasn instructed to write a letter releasing the bed for sale and if they are able to sell it then my deposit would be released. I told the manager that I was unhappy with the customer service and would not shop there nor refer anyone there again. In a truly unprofessional manner the manager told me it was not their fault I could not understand the contract. This buisness has very poor customer service after items are purchased. I do not recommend spending any money with a company that is not only unreasonable but disrespectful.
