Ford Motor Complaint - Watch out!!!! Door locks pinch!!!!!
ESTILL SPRINGS, TENNESSEE -- I have a 2002 Windstar that I purchased new. Less than 45 days later, after several times getting pinched, my mom getting pinched twice and my son getting pinched. I took the van back. They said it was a design problem and they could not fix it. They also told me it occured in all the vehicles of Ford Winstars. They further went on to tell me to keep my arm off. Easier said than done. Others have continued to get pinched and I sure still get pinched after two years of battling this. Yes, my husband reminds me. Yet, while on a trip looking out of your window to see deer everywhere(going only 5 miles an hour) you don't expect to get pinched.(Which just happen this Spring 2004) Some people will not sit in my van(If they have to, they will sit in the back) because of this. With all the child safety features, I would expect them to take car of the problem. I bought a luxury van to find it not so luxurious. I also thought with all the recalls on items pinching children that they would definitly take care of this. I guess I was wrong.
