Jenn Aire Complaint - Gas Cook Top - 4-5 service calls in less than one year

I bought a Jenn Aire cooktop assuming it was of some minimum reasonable quality - at least as good as a Kitchen Aid. What I found is that the quality was far below normal. I wish I had never bought it - the stainess top scratches very easily - not even "normal use" (I don't cook), The igniters, gratings, and stainless top have all been replaced at different times. (Twice for the igniters.) I think every part has been replaced at east once. Each time the poor service person has to take it out and rebuild it. Never buy anything from thie company. It's not worth the trouble even if the repairs are free!

Those grates are expensive out of warranty.I'm assuming you're having A&E service come out from the factory,do yourself a favor and request a real technician if you should experience more problems
