Tractor Tavern Complaint - Are You Out of Your Pea-Pickin' Minds?

Review by Starlord on 2009-06-30
June 27, Junior Brown did a show in Portland, OR, and accordig the the site tracking his tour, the tickets were $61 a seat. On June 28, Junior appeared at the Tractor Tavern, in Seattle, WA. tje prices quoted in the same site were a minimum of $262 a seat. Now, I am a huge Junior Brown fan, and wanted to go to Seattle, eat at Joe's Crab Shack and go see Junior's show. Now, don't get me wrong, I believe junior Brown is one of the top performers in show business. But, come on, $262 and up? At a tavern? These were the only two appearances by Junipr Brown on the West Coast, and I feel ripped off becaue the Tractor Tavern is so doggone greedy. The last I heard, Junior is not on a par with the Stones or the late King of Weird Jackson. I have neveer heard of anyone paying $262 a seat for ANY performed. Junior, if you see, this, I love your music, but these people are pricing you out of an audience.

Junior Brown is awesome, but that price is just ridiculous!!!

I'm sure Seattle was a much smaller, more intimate venue.
It's pretty common to see prices spike for this reason.
I saw Junior for free once. His show was worth the price.

If I knew who Junior brown was, I would be outraged also.

He's kind of like Stevie Ray Vaughn, only different.

He is one of country's greats, and if you saw the new Dukes of Hazzard movie, he was the voice of the narrator.

Junior invented the instrument he plays, and calls it a guit-steel. He used to pay a six-string with an Hawaiian lap steel on his lap, but it was unwieldy. One night he dreamed the two instruments melted and flowed together. He called a guitar maker and had him make three guit-steels he uses for studion and road shows. His wife, Tanya Rae, who has her own album, plays rythym guitar with him.

Instead of complaining, just don't go.
