Calvin Klein, Inc. Complaint - CK bad for society
Complaint
I am outraged about the new billboard in NY that has the girl displayed in a threesome. Calvin Klein should be ashamed of themselves for the image they are creating for the people of America. This is NOT the life that young people should be living. Threesomes are a hotbed for STD's, pregancy, abortions, relationship problems, and simply sexual immorality. The ad has taked away the focus of what America was founded on. Morality, love, trust, faithfulness. If that was his daughter or grandughter up there, would he approve? I would certainly hope not!!! I am boycotting Calvin Klein, Phillips Van Heusen, IZOD, & Bass. (All of which are owned by the same company. I hope you will do the same.

Do what you feel you must. An alternative lifestyle does not necessitate an increase in pregnancy, abortions, STD's. You get plenty of that in a tradtional lifestyle. .

You're surprised by a sexually implicit ad from Calvin Klein? This is why CK is famous - ads with women and men in underwear. You want to really be shocked? Look at an ad from American Apparel.

back in the 80s there was a billboard i saw of a woman wearing a leotard doing yoga. someone spray-painted her crotch cos they were offended at seeing it.
course they also spray painted "meat is murder" which was kinda stupid cos the billboard had nothing to do with meat in the first place.
but i figure it's the same thing... someone saw the lower-half of her body and all they could think about was her genital region so they had to spray paint on it.

The pic in this billboard is pretty low rent. Its not a giant leap to deduce they're implying not just a threesome, but a foursome.
Calvin Klein likes it cause kids who think they are rebelling (as if an actual rebel would even respond to ads) will buy them..its been going on since the 70's.
