Chase Manhattan Bank Complaint - Begging for Paper billing
COLOMBUS, OHIO -- Chase, on its own, decided I would go paperless and stopped sending me bills for my home equity loan. When I first realized I hadn't made a payment because of no bill, I was successful in paying online. The second time, they wouldn't let me pay online in spite of the fact that I gave them my social security # and my bank account # (didn't have the loan number because I had no bill) They started calling for collection and when I called back, was able to pay by phone, all the while, begging to go back to receiving paper bills. I gave my social sec # to numerous agents whom I begged for paper bills. This month, I still have no bill, but they did send me a notice that said I haven't paid and that I must call the phone numbers at the bottom of the page - and THEY WERE DISCONNECTED. I went online once again to try to pay - but to no avail. I have years with this company with NO LATE PAYS WHATSOEVER. I've never tried so hard to pay a bill in my life. I even sent emails to their fraud department and customer service - IGNORED. Are they pulling this to raise revenues?
