EliteXtreme Complaint - Stay away from these con artists
Placed an order 12 June 2009 for a couple of items. Called 26 June for a status check and was told items were back ordered and just received that day and I would have order following Tuesday. Tuesday comes and goes Wednesday comes and goes. Thursday I call and politely ask for a status check and the guy goes away for a minute comes back and says those items aren't available and they have lots of others to choose from. Well as you can expect I cut him off and asked him why I was told they shipped last Friday and I was to have them already. Naturally he couldn't explain that. Next I told him that I wanted a refund and didn't want to hear any bull crap and He stated they would need 5 business days. So I told him I would give them till next Friday 10 July to have it to me and if I didn't have it I would Call Detective Johnson of the Casselbury Police, contact State Attorney's Office in Florida, Florida Department of Consumer Services, Federal Trade Commission and the Internet Crime Complaint Center. The young guy on the phone tells me quietly that my threats don't scare them. Well I must have set a new record for getting a refund from them because not five minutes after I get off the phone with them and begin making this entry here my Email program notifies me of new mail so I go see who its from and its PayPal notifying me of a refund from EliteXtreme. I guess my threats scared them bad enough to take immediate action to refund my money. So what happened to the 5 business days they needed to refund me ehhhh.
