LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY -- This company's business practices are horrendous. I've never in my life dealt with such a poorly run business.
My dental office set up an account for me through this company. Ever since my first bill sent last September 2003, I've had nothing other than one problem after another. I believe I've made about 10 calls to the company, and I've faxed 2 sets of documents over to them in these past 7monyhd, as well. Today, I was on the phone with a customer service representative for an hour!!
I was originally given a $1,000 credit line with no finance charges for a year. I made a payment (on time) with the first bill I received in September. It wasn't posted to my account. I faxed over the cleared check 2 separate times, per the company's suggestion.
In November, I realized I hadn't been receiving bills from them, so I called. Come to find out, for some unknown reason, they'd moved my personal information to another file & seemed to type in the incorrect address! In turn, I didn't receive 2 bills in the mail. They said they'd send the most recent one to the correct (updated) address. Surely enough, it showed up. But....2 late fees + finance charges were tacked on to it! I promptly called a customer service rep. She was VERY rude and kept trying to talk over me. I asked to speak with her manager. She told me they couldn't transfer calls!! So, I hung up and called back. I talked with another rep. and asked again to speak to a manager. Not sure if that happened, but I did talk with another person with some assemblance of customer "service." After some discussion, she finally told me the late fees would get waived (though they "don't typically do this"). The fees weren't even my fault!!
Surely enough, the waived late fees appeared on my next statement. However...they'd charged me $88 in finance charges!!! So...I called AGAIN. The customer service rep. told me to send the paperwork to the accounting dept. and let them deal with it/decide if they'd do anything. I received something from the dept. about a month later, saying "they were researching the information." In the meantime, another finance charge appeared on the following statement. Grrr...
The finance charges were waived on the FOLLOWING statement. That brings me to the 1-hour phone conversation today. The THIRD person I talked with today about the situation went through all of the bills and payments with me, per my request. Surely enough! They'd never credited one of the late fees!! I told her about their mistake, and she told me they wouldn't waive the fees. "We only waive one late fee." That's when she became incredibly rude and started talking over me!! I've never had a problem w/customer service reps. I'm typically a very easy-going person. After a drawn-out heated discussion, I asked to talk with her manager. She told me it wouldn't matter b/c he/she couldn't waive the fee either. That's when I asked her if I needed to get a lawyer involved. She told me to hold. She put me on hold for a good 10 minutes, then came back and told me she got approval to waive the fee. THEN...she proceeded to tell me there's a late fee on the next statement I'll be receiving! I told her that couldn't be possible...that I'd made a payment on the 8th, and it wasn't due till the 15th!! She told me it wasn't their fault. So, I got online tonight and checked my bank account. Surely enough...the check went through on the 13th! Which means, I'm going to end up making another blankity-blank call to another one of their terribly rude customer service reps. yet again!!
I'm so frustrated with this company, and I told exactly that to several of the reps. I spoke with today.
I apologize for the length of this complaint, but I really want everyone to see exactly how poorly this company does so-called "business." And seeing a lot of other complaints on this site, I realize I'm not alone. I would definitely recommended steering completely clear of this organization...or better said...this "disorganization."
