Whirlpool - Can't be trusted
Whirlpool washer/dryer - Complaint
Be careful out there. If you buy a washer dryer hoping to get a rebate and submit it properly, if something happens to the submission, it will expire on you even if you call to follow-up. I submitted a $200 rebate on the purchase of a washer/dryer. I called a few months later asking what happened to my rebate. I was told that I should have called earlier. How was I supposed to know? The form said to call after 8 weeks but didn't say, "YOU MUST CALL BEFORE 3 MONTHS OTHERWISE WE KEEP YOUR MONEY" That info isn't on the form. I pleaded with the agent but she just sounded like an IRS agent and said "The rebate has expired" I feel like a fool to have trusted Whirlpool and just feel like selling the units I just bought.
