Empire Carpet Complaint - Sales people are not reliable
We wanted to replace our kitchen and hallway flooring. They offered us an appointment the next day to show us materials. Were told someone would be here between 11am and 1pm on Tuesday. At 11:45 salesperson, Eric called to say he could not make it, but could probably be there shortly after 2pm. We agreed he would call us when he left his appointment so we could meet him back at home and not be trapped waiting any longer. At 12:30 he called, his appointment had stood him up. We agreed to meet him at home, he was across town, we were a few blocks away. Then suddenly he didn't want to come, he wasn't feeling well, we would have to reschedule. Told him that was fine, I would reschedule, but not with him.
They gave us a new appointment for the same time, next day. At 12:30 someone from customer service called to say the sales person had shown up, but we were not home and he called, but got no answer. Two of us were home all morning. She said he would call us shortly. When no one called 20 minutes later, I again called customer service, while on the phone with them sales person, Doug called to say he had the wrong address and phone number, but could be there in 45 minutes. I decided we had waited long enough and said unless he could be here in 15 minutes we were not interested. Again called customer service, they were very sorry, they offered to try and get someone out to us, but we decided we were through with them.
