Automax I-240 In OKlahoma City Complaint - Lip Service - $100 Referral Fee

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA -- I purchased a new car from Automax on March 24, 2009. My friends referred me there so they could get their $100 referral fee. They have yet to receive their referral money. I have contacted the general mgr. 3 times by email 3 times over the phone & twice in person. He gives me Lip Service & promises to come thru for me this week, then next week, etc. It is now July 8,2009. I am fed up & it is sad to know that dealership can't afford a $100.

I won't be using this dealership anymore.

I apologize to you and your friends for our lack of follow through on our promises. We really do have customers get referral fee checks, but we have specific procedures that need to be followed. A frustrating experience like yours usually starts with an untrained salesman who does not know how to do a referral for his customers. I wish that I had gotten involved as I can usually help our customers with the referral checks, but as in your case, most customers ask for their sales person or the manager, and no one follows up. Again, I am sorry that we did not take better care of you.

Well I was going there to look at a car but after reading this I will look else where.
