Motel 6 Complaint - Guest Relations Specialist
CARROLTON, TEXAS -- I just have to say Motel 6 is the worst place. I have always stayed at Motel 6, but the last 2 stays were awful!!!!
I stayed in Baytown, Tx. I asked for a Handicapped room (I had my leg amputated 2 weeks before). I paid for 2 room because I had so many people with me. I did NOT get a handicapped room. I couldn't get into the restroom without help, it was embarrasssing. I was too tired to change rooms. Plus just getting into or out of the room took too long.
Then on the way back home I stopped in Longview, Tx. again I asked for a Handicapped room....NOT a handicapped room again. Once again I was too tired to change rooms. Not only was it not a handicapped room it was nasty!!! The bathroom had pee around the toilet on the floor. There was still trash in the trash can from someone else. I couldn't get to the phone or to the remote control. Not enough room between the beds. I could get into the bathroom, but who would want to???
I e-mailed Motel 6 and got into touch with a "Specialist" of Guest relations by the name of Eric Popadopoulos. What a joke. I have been waiting for a 1 night voucher for 2 weeks. When I e-mailed to ask about it I got a call stating I should look for it myself...Yea right!! I was also sent an e-mail stating that he had other guest's to tend to and he considered my matter closed and final (with final in big bold letters). He also stated that he would not contact me again. What an idiot. Really good way to treat your customer.
I am very unhappy with the way I was treated and want this matter taken care of. I will be calling the BBB and Health department.
