Princeton Lakes Internal Medicine Complaint - Lost Paper Work - Billing

I started using this office in Feb of 2009 and they don't have a proper billing department. They use an independent contractor of which she bills out of her home. They hired a new person and she is incompetent at her job. She does not bill on a monthly basis. Always has an excuse about not receiving payment and when she does bill the bills that were asked about and told weren't paid yet suddenly appear on a statement showing as past due by 30, 60, or 90 days. Copies were made to show what was paid by our insurance company and what was owed by the patient. Because there were a lot of papers dating back to Jan 09 through June 19 09 when I paid the bill. When call about it all that is said is we are looking into in and will let you know. Promises are made of mailing but nothing is ever mailed because I never receive anything. Also the office just hangs up on you in the middle of you talking to them which is very rude. There seems to be no way to file a complaint except the BBB.

I believe it is wrong that a Dr office and billing person can do what ever they want to and there is no recourse of complaint that can be filed. They are a business more then they are there to actually help a person any more.

I would never recommend any to this Dr. office.
