Review by do on 2009-07-14
STAMFORD, CONNECTICUT -- I purchase a bad box on this products I've used it be for but this time when I rinsed it out I kept feeling a tingling burning sensation so I hurried to wash it out and now I have bald spot and a bald part my head it still red on the scalp and it itches and still burns.

Its been a week and now new hair has come through... I have a doctor appointment tomorrow...

The box tells you to do a test sample EACH and EVERY TIME you use it. If you didn't do this than Clairol isn't at fault you are. Place the blame where it's due on you!

Did you do a test strand the way the instructions indicate?

Hahaha..no offense at all about your bald spot, I was just thinking about how I've never done test strands either. I've ended up with pink highlights too..mama had greenish hair once.

Stuff happens when you put harsh chemicals on your head at home, but it never occurred to me to blame the company for my ineptitude.

If new hair is growing in, why bother with a doctor? Maybe you meant "no new hair"?

I would freak out if this happened to me--seriously. Since the hair is already growing out, you should be thankful for that. Hopefully, it will only be a temporary condition--you will never want to remember. I would definitely consider having a professional color your hair from now on--I know I do. If I had to, I would scrimp on other things just to afford it, lol. (Actually, no joke.)

All the home stuff does say to do a test strand each time. Did you attempt to contact the company directly? What did they say?
