Hutch India Complaint - Deficient Service from Hutch Mobile Service

I was a subscriber of Hutch Mobile Service (Popularly known as Orange Worldwide) in New Delhi, India. I bought the post paid connection in last week of December 2003. Early January I discovered that my SIM card is not functioning properly and it is defective. I contacted Hutch Shop at Barakhamba Road, New Delhi. The executives refused to change my SIM and asked me to replace it at INR 250. They said that we do not take any guarantee for SIM. You have to pay INR 250 even if you bring it back after 1 hour of delivery. They advised me to change the SIM when it will totally stop working. See the Callousness of Hutch who takes Customer for granted. My SIM got worse in April and I bought new connection from another company. Still Hutch sent me bill for two months which I paid in May end (without using their service) to get my connection closed.
Whenever you go to Hutch shop you may find scores of unsatisfied customers and you have to wait at least 30-40 minutes to get your problem heard. I will urge consumers to be away from such deaf companies.

Hutch compensates its deficient services by aggressively advertising on Television. Now I know this is just duping innocent people.
