Travelocity Complaint - NEVER Book Through Travelocity Again
I just returned from a 7-night Alaska cruise, my first ever cruise and also as our honeymoon. The trip itself was great, but the booking agent is so disappointing. I booked it through Travelocity, just because they offer $50 on board credit, which was stated in the confirmation email they sent to me. But as I embarked the ship, the crew staff told me no credit was on file and asked me to contact my TA. I made a couple of phone calls on the ship, usually held for 20+ min (you can imagine how much I paid for that), and the representative apologized to me and guaranteed the credit should be on my account the next day. But till the disembark day, I got the final receipt, with nothing special there. I felt CHEATED by Travelocity. I sent them email for inquiry but no reply for a day, I guess that's the way Travelocity usually promote their sales.
That's a lesson I learned, just wanna share with all newbies like me: never let Travelocity ruin your vacation.
