VOIP.COM Complaint - Being Charged For Things I Did Not Receive
I was in the process of purchasing a new home so I thought I could get all the utilities set up ahead of time, so when I move into the home everything is ready. I called Voip.com for my phone service and they seemed to sound as though they knew what they were doing. But then the home deal fell through and I called Voip and told them to cancel and since I have not yet received the hardware kit they should refund the $35.89 they billed my credit card along with the first months usage of 24.99 that I didn't have in the first place. Well they refunded the $24.99 first months usage and instead of refunding the $35.89 for the equipment I never got in the first place they charged another $39.99 cancellation fee. I continued to contact them to resolve this problem and they keep telling me they have taken care of this when in fact they are lying and just ripping people off. I really think the FCC should get involved and have them shut down so they quit ripping off more people.
Our government gets involved in our lives for everything else we do, why don't they help us get these crooks off the internet and put some of them in jail.
