LINGO Complaint - Lingo - I can not cancel service
MCLEAN, VIRGINIA -- I am Lingo customer for more than a year. Now I want to try magic jack ( to save money). I signed up for Lingo for 1 year.
I called to cancel Lingo on June 14,2009. CS says I have to pay 99.00 early termination fee as contact was extended to 2yrs by email. I did not know when they sent email and extended contact.
Over next few weeks - I contact 10 times. Every time they keep me waiting for 30 minutes. They transfre me from one department to another. They keep saying they are waiting for executive decision on my case. I wanted to talk to their executive, but they say "no".
Such a waste of time. I can not imagine how bad their service is. I do not know what is the proper way to proceed so that these people can not cheat anymore.
